The most difficult and challenging aspect of Singing is when you try singing, without any song background music or without accompanying any musicians.
Now a days where Dubbing studios have VSTs and Plugins like Autotuners, its open for any Music Lover who’s even amateur to sing.
But true singing is something where you sing in proper tune, feel the lyrics, observe the groove and make the song your own, without any song background music.
Songs without music: If you want to observe real texture of Singer’s tone, you should try hearing his isolated voice without music. Songs without Music with Isolated Voice in the beginning of the Bollywood songs like “Khaab ho tum ya koi Haqeekat” and “Hai duniya usiki zamana usika” are the perfect examples.
By “making the song your own” is making it Original. Originality is even possible when you sing Cover songs by singing in a pitch you are comfortable and in your own style. For eg. Just imagine “Kal ho na ho” bollywood song, if sung by Ghazal Singer Jagjit Singh instead of Bollywood Singer Sonu Nigam, will sound completely different and original.
I am here, presenting a ghazal “Tere baarein mein jab socha nahi tha” originally sung by Jagjit Singh, keeping all the aspects discussed above in mind without any musical instrument and without any Autotuners used, Just Singing without Music.
I hope u will appreciate my efforts and get back to me by ur responses.
